Oh! Atmosphere just popped up on Libby for me so I will start reading it today. Good question. Eliana shared that it took her 10 years to write her book and that it kept changing along the way. Her first idea was bigger and wider. She ended up shifting her focus to one main character with a few deeply developed side characters.
I’m not writing fiction but my book has also been shifting in focus around a major theme for the past 15 years. I know I understand that I have several books in me. Eek! I’m glad to have the focus from Luvvie to keep me going in the clear direction I now have.

So wild to think about the time & journey it takes to bring a story to life. I've also struggled with allllll the books in me– the reminder to focus on one and just.trust.the.process is so helpful!
