Sometimes this feels pointless,
Insignificant admidst gun reform, economic collapse, and nuclear warfare.
But I’m reminded of the power I’ve felt coursing through my body,
And the awareness within each moment.
I hear the reminders from the universe,
Echoing across chakras and meridians.
To trust in the culmination of growth and experience,
Is a daily act of surrender.
Slowing down long enough to listen,
Forgiving myself long enough to heal.
Everything you could ever want, have, or need
Is right here inside of you.
Centuries-old lessons
Resurfaced through teachers in every form.
The outter manifestation is a reflection of the inner dialogue;
So speak with kindness, speak with grace.
As compassion is practiced
Confidence is earned.
Play, dear child– awash in the golden hues of summer,
And marvel at the transcendence of joy.
