gentle affirmations hug my curves like a form-fitting dress
comforting, assuring
it is an unfamiliar language
but reminds me of a home i once knew
with each exchange I rediscover the beauty of surrender
soaring beyond constructed limitations
reunited with the infinite wisdom that lives within this body
and the utter perfection of this experience
such weightlessness feels like a guilty pleasure
sinful in its rebellion against a world defined by struggle and lack
to write a new narrative is as foreign as writing this piece
but i show up
because Glennon Doyle says, “we can do hard things.”
and home feels a little more familiar

this mini-letter was first created as an unrestricted outlet for my feelings and i’ve never felt a stronger calling to that, or to the expression of that through different mediums. thank you for bearing witness to this evolution & i look forward to what unfolds.
